Privacy policy
Review version: the shop’s retention policy is confirmed below. Backend storage locations, access controls and deletion procedures still need technical verification before publication.
Information used for your order
Checkout asks for your name, mobile number, delivery location, address or directions, optional area details (building or villa information can be included in the delivery address) and delivery or preparation instructions, and your payment choice. Your order also contains products, weights, cuts, quantities, prices and totals. There is no account registration. The site does not collect card details; the existing choices are cash or card on delivery.
Why it is needed
This information is used to receive and prepare your order, arrange delivery, confirm details on WhatsApp and respond to order issues.
Order processing and services
The website sends orders to the shop’s existing Google Apps Script endpoint. The shop has described its workflow as saving/processing orders and sending Telegram and email notifications. Google Sheets supplies the public product catalogue. The backend source is not part of this website: its order storage location, notification recipients and access controls still require the owner’s verification. Staff use the customer-specific WhatsApp link in Telegram to confirm orders. Website ordering does not require sending a WhatsApp message.
On your device
The site uses local storage for your language preference, cart, chosen map location, cached product catalogue and latest attempted or confirmed order. The latest order can include your contact and delivery details. These entries persist until replaced or removed through your browser’s site-data controls. On a shared device, clear site data after use. There are no analytics scripts or first-party tracking cookies in the inspected website source.
Security verification
Live checkout uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. The verification service processes browser and connection information and returns a short-lived token, which the order server validates before accepting an order.
Maps and externally loaded resources
When enabled, the delivery map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. Google Fonts and the Leaflet library are loaded from external services. These services receive normal connection information such as your IP address. Device location is requested only when you select “Use my current location” and grant browser permission. Google Maps and WhatsApp links open their respective services.
Retention and privacy requests
Tariq Meat Center uses customer information only for order processing, delivery, customer support and legally required recordkeeping. We retain personal data only as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by Saudi law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. This is the shop’s confirmed policy; the website cannot itself delete records held in the backend, Telegram or email. Browser storage described above is controlled separately through your browser’s site-data settings.
